families<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><em>Wind Farm Simulator<\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n<h3><em>Purpose:<\/em><\/h3>\n<p><em>Learning<\/em> about the <strong>behavior<\/strong> of <strong>industrial grade Wind Turbines<\/strong> is a requirement for any one with <strong>responsibilities in their management,<\/strong> and a <strong>matter of personal security<\/strong> for those that maintain and operate them.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><em>Motivation:<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We have developed a line of training material to address these learning needs, grouped under the generic name &#8220;<strong>Wind Farm Simulator<\/strong>&#8220;, focused on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reducing the time and costs associated to the training<\/strong> on the behavior of Wind Turbines.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minimizing the risks<\/strong> associated with the personal exposition to abnormal situations (extreme winds, grid failures, overheating of the generator, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Presenting the <strong>messages that the Wind Turbine Controller generates<\/strong> as result of the <strong>creation of failure conditions<\/strong> (in the pitch system, in the hydraulic system, in the yaw system.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposing <strong>the behavior fo the Wind Turbines<\/strong> in an way easy to explore: in <em>normal working conditions<\/em>, as well as <em>abnormal or in failure situations<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><em>Description:<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>This product line consists of a set of <strong>4 Real Time Simulators<\/strong>, and associated specific <strong>Tutorials<\/strong>, that covers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Simulator for the Wind Farm SCADA<br \/>\n.<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_43\"
